My name is Shelby Morgan Gillis and I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism and Documentary Production from Flagler College located in the Nation's Oldest City, St. Augustine, Florida. Throughout my time at Flagler I produced short films some of which were aired on Ancient City Stories, a segment on the CW-17 channel in Jacksonville, Florida. I also wrote articles for the Gargoyle, Flagler's online publication. My immediate goal after graduation is to pursue freelance videography and my long term goal is to work with a company where I can utilize my production, writing and videography skills to make a positive difference in the world. Ever since I can remember I have wanted to help people who don't have a voice to shed light on certain issues they may be facing. Once I discovered my love for video production, I knew that was how I was going to do make a difference. I believe that video content has the power to bring awareness to certain issues that words just simply cannot.

     I consider myself a positive and easy-going individual and a beach girl at heart. In my spare time you can find me somewhere near the water or with my Golden Retriever, Basil. In 2010 I received my scuba diving certification and immediately fell in love with the world below the oceans surface. I love traveling and exploring new places, there’s nothing more exciting than meeting new people and learning about different cultures. I have been to England, Ireland, Wales, Australia, Mexico, Costa Rica, Jamaica and Puerto Rico. I am always ready for a new adventure.
